Our Process

IDS will sit down with each client to identify what your needs and wants are. Our initial discussions are focused more on educating you on how technology can benefit your families life all while keeping a sharp eye on future technology needs, financial budgets and architectural and design aesthetics.

Once all of the needs and wants of the client are qualified, a detailed and complete design will be developed to meet these goals. Our design team will define all aspects of the projects functionality for each room and present a proposal with hardware and labor defined, setting a clear expectation of what the project entails. We will then meet with the client to review each section of the design in detail, answer all questions, and review any potential changes to perfect the design. Once a final design is approved, we will begin the implementation process.

IDS will work with hand in hand with the client and all related contractors and designers for the project to ensure complete success. IDS ownership will personally review each phase of the installation to ensure no detail is missed. At the end of the system implementation, our team will sit down with you to thoroughly educate you on all facets of system operation to make sure you are comfortable with its use. 20 years of experience has taught us that the more detailed we can be during the design and implementation phases, the more successful the resulting system will be.

This phase is often missed by most other integrators who just focus on the “fun” of the installation and fail to provide a high level of service and support when required. The reason our clients work with us is to have someone they trust to assist them with their technology needs. As such, we hold ourselves to a higher standard than a typical electronics retailer.
